The Ateneo de Manila University will shift its academic calendar from June-March to August-May starting SY 2015-2016.Involved in the move are the Loyola Schools, the Law School and the School of Medicine and Public Health. As the Graduate School of Business and the School of Government follow trimestral and modular formats, these are not affected. Below is a table outlining the new schedule:
This shift aligns the Ateneo de Manila University with 70% of universities around the world and 82% of it current university partners. It enables the University to broaden and deepen its engagements with counterparts overseas, thus enabling students and the institution itself to be immersed in and responsive to global realities and challenges.Ateneo seeks to intensify student and faculty mobility, establish new international collaborative programs and participate in global networks of outreach efforts.
Ateneo Opens Exchange Opportunities for Intersession (June-July)In 2015, the Ateneo will begin sending out students to partner universities for the months of June and July.In 2016, Ateneo will open slots for exchange students for the Ateneo Intersession.
